The International Gil Soundtrack Award, promoted by the Viñas Familia Gil group of wineries, presents its winner. The jury, chaired by Esther García, the winner of 3 Goya Awards and the National Cinematography Prize, has selected a single composer from among the 6 finalists for this, the fifth Gil Soundtrack Award.
Miquel Casals
With his work: “Symphony of a Paradigm”
Miquel’s piece will be the soundtrack of the short film by Gerard Vidal Cortés, starring Ivana Baquero.
The 50,000-euro prize is intended as a way for the winner to round off their musical career. This international prize, which is unique in its category and the largest of its kind in the world, seeks to promote and showcase the beginnings of thousands of young composers who undertake to bestow universal emotional identity on films, video games, documentaries and all types of audiovisual projects.
